3 Card Poker

Three Card Poker is a poker-like casino game in which the player must beat the hand of the house. The game uses a 52-card deck which is shuffled between each game. Three cards are dealt to the player as well as at home.

You need at least 5 players at the table (not counting the dealer) to start playing

To win, the player must get a poker hand made up of 3 cards stronger than the house’s. It

There are two optional side bets: the Pair Plus bet and the 6 Card Bonus bet.

The dealer then begins by dealing 3 cards facing down to each player and himself. Players have a choice to either fold or continue in the game by placing a “play” wager equal to their ante.

The dealer then turns over his cards. If he doesn’t have at least a queen or a better combination, then there is no action on play wagers and ante wagers are paid 1 to 1.

If the dealer does play, the dealer and player hands are compared. If the dealer’s combination is stronger than that of the player, the latter loses all his bets. If there is a tie, the player gets his bets, and if the player hand wins both the ante and play wagers are paid 1 to 1.

There are only six possible 3 card poker hands you can make. Here they are ranked from highest to lowest:

  • Straight flush
  • Three of a kind
  • Straight
  • Flush
  • Pair
  • High card
